This leaves some vacancies to be filled for the coming weeks, and some vacancies have been created in the ranks of our greeters. If you are willing to help us in this important ministry throughout the summer weeks, please contact Roger Pettett as soon as possible. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU A big thank you to everyone who shared their collectables and their talents with us. It was a fun way to learn more about each other. Also a huge thank you to everyone who helped us Friday afternoon getting set up, those who helped during the pizza supper & then Saturday morning. What a wonderful church family to be a part of. Social Activities Committee THANK YOU Thank you for your visits, phone calls, prayers and concerns during my brief stay in the hospital. I am so thankful for my church family at Trinity. Dale Mellor WHAT IS A HOPE BAG? A bag given to battered women and children who must run for their lives from abusive home situations, sometimes with only the clothes on their back, is a HOPE BAG. There are four different bags. Women, boys, girls and new born. The women's contain approximately 35 items including a Bible and the salvation message, and new personal-care items. Boy and girl bags contain a Bible and salvation message, personal-care items, toys, coloring books, paper, pencils, etc . The newborn kit has lotions, diapers, receiving blanket, hats, and other items essential to the new born baby. This averages out to about 30 items per bag. Trinity Bible Church donated 900 items, enough to fill 30 bags. 350 bags were filled by ladies from Trinity Bible, Grace Community, and Palm West. 100 will be delivered to the "Changing Life Center "of Phoenix Rescue Mission. The rest will be used for the 10 safe houses of "Mercy Connections" in the Northwest Valley. Women's Ministries want to thank you for your generosity and for participating in this service project. We pray that as a community we can reach out and help fight domestic abuse by providing these much needed items. ~ Save the Date for these
